ABOUT
CREAGH HOUSEWhile this gracious Georgian mansion is ideally located to visit the attractions of southern Ireland, there are amenities nearby also. The house sits next to the River Awbeg, a stone's throw away from the first tee of the golf course (best nine-hole in Ireland!), and adjacent to the finishing line of the first Steeplechase (1752) and Doneraile demesne (400 acres) which is open to the public.
Creagh
House is a historic home which has been extensively refurbished. A small
number of spacious and exclusive rooms are available for guests where one
can be assured of a restful and private stay in one of the finest townhouses
outside of Dublin. Ten modern townhouses would fit in this building!
Creagh House is a member of The
Hidden Ireland and is listed in Karen
Brown's Ireland, The
Good Hotel Guide, and Georgina
Campbell's Ireland.
So if you seek to be a guest in a country house of unique character while
visiting Ireland, or touring in the south, then read on! We look forward
to seeing you.
